Regular Season Round 12: Sigulda - Blackeberg 56-79

No shocking result in a game when 47th ranked SwedishBlackeberg (2-6) smashed bottom-ranked Latvian Sigulda (0-9) 79-56 on Friday. The game without a history. Blackeberg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Sigulda 's 34. Blackeberg forced 24 Sigulda turnovers and outrebounded them 54-30 including a 22-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Georgios Konstantinidis who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and Oscar Igbe who added 15 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Blackeberg players scored in double figures. Blackeberg's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Romans Brols with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Ralfs Garancs scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Blackeberg moved-up to 39th place, which they share with TEAM 6 and Hoopstarz Ac. Loser Sigulda still closes the standings with nine games lost.
